April Fool, say Venkat Prabhu, Amudhan

Putting an end to all controversies, filmmakers Venkat Prabhu and C S Amudhan today said their 'fights and exchanges' were only an attempt to fool others in view of the April Fool's day.
The directors, known for spoofing Tamil cinema in their films, made some heated charges at each other in the recent past on various mediums- newspaper advertisements, chat show on a television channel and their respective social networking pages.

They also said a couple of days ago that the issue was settled and wished each other all the best. And today, newspaper advertisements of Venkat Prabhu's 'Goa' and Amudhan's 'Thamizh Padam' said both liked each other's films a lot and the entire issue was a prank played for April Fool's day.

Soundarya Rajinikanth marrying Ashwin

We all read about Soundarya Rajinikanth marrying Ashwin, a Chennai-based young entrepreneur, soon. But not many of us have the idea on the looks of the Superstar's second son-in-law (except some blur pictures appeared on the media).

An engineering graduate, Ashwin did his higher studies in the United States.

He is currently looking after his father’s construction business. Betrothal for this love-cum-arranged marriage will take place in Chennai on February 17.

Wedding date will be announced later.

We heard that Yuvan had watched the Director’s cut of the movie today and was laughing chaotically despite the fact that he watched it all alone. Now people just imagine the out put with the magical re-recording and songs of Yuvan joining this laugh riot. The composer is reportedly starting the re-recording works today!

Karthi And Dhanush: One-To-One Combat For Pongal

Things are getting bewildered with the racy Pongal season awaited head. This morning, we got to hear the fact that Vishal’s ‘Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai’ has been postponed from Pongal and now Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Goa’ joins the list as well.So, it’s all about Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and Dhanush starrer ‘Kutty’ that’ll be making it ways for Pongal. Buzzes are that the teasers and promos of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ have changed the entire situation.

Much prior to screening the film’s teasers, expectations were pretty little which apparently exceeded the extremum after the juncture. Consequently, the business has gradually peaked-up high with ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and trade analysts have predictable favorable results for this film. On pars, Dhanush’s ‘Kutty’ will be a grand fare since the duo (Dhanush and Jawahar) has already done a good job with ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’.

It’s noteworthy that Dhanush’s previous film ‘Padikadhavan’ happens to be one of the biggest grosser at box office in 2009.As in co-incident, it can be marked that Dhanush was supposed to perform a meaty role opposite Karthi in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. But now, we’ll have the perfect contestant between these biggies for Pongal.

The actress is appearing in a wet bikini suit for the first time in this film and of course she has been paid hefty for this glam coup.

The secret behind her change is hiking her pay for her future projects. Yes...she has given the green signal to all that she is getting ready for skin show in others films too, but if paid high!

Silambarasan to join Nayantara in Goa!

Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Goa’ day by day is growing and going attractive as well. Already the movie has interesting star cast, with special guests thrown in. Hot Nayantara was the earlier buzz. We had it that the sizzling gal will grace the climax scenes.

Now the latest to join this crazy jovial team is Silambarasan! It is said that the actor will be coming in the course of the movie in a cameo role. However, he won’t be featured along with Nayantara, instead will appear in a separate sequence, sources said.
