'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai' written and directed by newcomer Thiru, who earlier assisted directors Agathiyan and A. Rajasekhar. The film, produced by Vikram Krishna, stars his brother Vishal Krishna in lead role along with Neetu Chandra of Yavarum Nalam fame, Tanushree Dutta, former Miss India Universe debuting in Kollywood and Sarah-Jane Dias, former Miss India World making her acting debut, whilst Prakash Raj, Santhanam, Oorvasi and Mouli among others play supporting roles.
The film, scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and filmed by Arvind Krishna, is in its production stage and scheduled for a 2010 Pongal release on January 14. The film is being dubbed into Telugu as Khilladi and will be released simultaneously with the Tamil version.
