Shakeela plays a pookari in Sri Saravanabhav Movies Payanangal Thodarum which is a story of a bus conductor who falls in love with a passenger. Shot in the borders of Andhra and TN, the film is a true life incident and shot in the areas where the incidents took place.Ranjit and Ganja Karappu play important roles. Director LPR Raja had heard about this story in his school days and decided to make it the film’s subject.
New faces Swetha from Telugu and Chandrahasan, play the lead pair while the music is by V Dashi.
