The Supreme Court has dismissed 22 criminal cases against Khusboo, for making a controversial statement endorsing pre-marital sex and live-in relationships.
We salute Khusboo who went through hell, trying to fight all the cases filed against her.
Today morning a bench comprising of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and Justice B.S. Chauhan quashed the nearly two dozen cases against her saying that her statement on the issue of pre-marital sex and live-in relationships was her personal view and the Indian constitution entitles her to express it.
One of the most famous journalists in India, Malini Parathasarathy twittered- “Good for Khushboo! Thanks to her courageous stand, another important victory for freedom of expression and speech. India is strengthened!”
Kushboo says: “Won all the cases in SC.Finally justice....”
