The title of Ajith’s 50th film is ‘Mangatha’ and it is to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Ajith and Gautam Menon were to team up in ‘Thuppariyum Anand’ but have now gone their separate ways. Gautam Menon had written the story specially for Ajith where he was to play the role of a detective with Samantha as the heroine.
Rumour has it that Ajith and Gautham split over differences of opinion. Now it’s said Venkat Prabhu will direct the film and even the title of ‘Mangatha’ is not confirmed as such and could change.
Whether there would be a change of heroine, is also not clear but shooting is scheduled to start in August.
