Ajmal made his debut as an actor in the film Anjathey directed by Mysskin. Since this film was successful, Ajmal got offers. He acted in films like Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru, T N 07 AL 4777 and Kadhirvel.
Now he has been signed for the film titled Karuppampatti. Ajmal is donning dual roles in this film. Prabhu Chozhan who was an assistant to director Shankar is directing this film.
He says that he will be narrating the story in the back drop of a village and also in the period of 70s. Sonam Kapoor will be pairing with Ajmal in this film.
