Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's much-awaited Oru Naal Varum, which was unexpectedly postponed after the film exhibitors’ federation took a decision not to release any new film from June 23, following a friction with producers and distributors association, has been confirmed to grace the screens on July 9. Directed by Rajiv Kumar, the film has been already cleared by the Censors with a ‘U’ certificate. Sameera Reddy is the heroine.
Scripted by Sreenivasan, the film has Mohanlal playing the role of a village farmer who comes to Thiruvananthapuram selling everything in his village for his children's higher education. He buys a plot of land and wants to build a house in the city. After drawing the plan of his new house, he submits it to the Town Planning officer (Sreenivasan) at the Corporation office.
