Can an unglamorous actress ever be No.1? Kushboo, Simran, Jyotika, Trisha, Nayanthara and Tamannaah - they've all been numero uno at some time or the other in Kollywood. However, non glamorous actresses like Bhavana, Meera Jasmine and others have never reached that height of fame.
The audience wants to believe their favourite actress is a fantasy girl - not the woman they see in their daily lives. Hats off to Sunaina, who wants to balance her career with glamour and off-beat roles.
