Post ‘Dasavatharam’ and ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, producer Aascar Ravichandran didn’t churn out big tickets. Nearly after three years, the producer is now back with a bang signing Vijay and Jeyam Raja for ‘Velayudham’. Reported to be a remake of Telugu movie ‘AZAD’ starring Nagarjuna in lead role, the film has Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani in female lead.The movie launch will take place on July 15 at Madras University Auditorium and Vijay fans will be allowed to take part in this occasion.P reviously it was mentioned that either Vidhyasagar or Vijay Anthony will be scoring music and now Harris Jayaraj has been signed while Priyan of ‘Singam’ fame will handle cinematography.
