Kollywood sources report that Vijay starrer ‘Kaavalan’ was initially announced as a Diwali release, but it seems that the film may not be a Diwali release. The shooting of ‘Kaavalan’ is not completed yet, still there are a few shots involving Asin, Vijay, the lead pair in the film has to be completed. Director Siddique and his team are planning to release the movie in December as there are some post production work to be completed for the movie.
This movie is Ilayathalapathi’s 51st movie and which is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’.
