Although her launch vehicle 'Karuppusamy Kuthagaidharar' did reasonably well and she looked very good in it, Kollywood hasn't yet warmed up to Meenakshi.
The actress, who was less noticed in the next few flicks which miserably bombed at the box office, is now getting ready for Karu Pazhaniappan’s 'Mandhira Punnahai', which she hopes would do the much needed magic to her career.
On Wednesday, she was the cynosure of all eyes at the music launch of 'Mandhira Punnahai' at a newly opened multiplex in Chennai, thanks to the 'liberilisation policy' she adopted in her costume.
Says the actress, "I sincerely hope that my role as Nandhini will get a good recognition in ‘Mandhira Punnahai’. I play a modern girl who has her own values towards life. Working with Karu Pazhaniappan was a great experience as he was very cooperative".
