Buzz is that Siddharth Anand, whose recently released ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ is ruling the box office currently, has planned to come up with his next project based on Bhagat’s book.
Sources reveal that the director has already bought the rights of the film just to stay out of any controversies.
A matter known to all, Rajkumar Hirani's film ‘3 Idiots’ had been inspired from Bhagat’s ‘5 Point Someone’. However, the writer had lashed out at the makers for not giving his due share of credits.
Keeping this incident in mind, looks like Siddharth has decided to play it safe and made necessary deal with the writer. Commenting of the movie, Chetan had tweeted, “Shooting early next year. They've promised a big family entertainer. Very excited. Thanks for ur support.”
The film is said to feature fresh pair Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
Hmmm, wonder how their chemistry will work on screen.... What say?
