Vijay TV has entered the competition in a big way by procuring the satellite rights of latest releases. The channel had obtained the rights of the Arya-starrer Chikku Bukku and is treating its viewers this Pongal by airing the film.
Similarly, this private satellite channel has also bought the satellite rights of the blockbuster Myna and the Pongal release Siruthai, which has Karthi and Tamannah playing the lead.
With Vijay TV jumping the bandwagon of procuring the satellite rights of latest releases it poses a stiff competition to Sun and Kalaignar TV who were ruling the roost till now.
