Theater personality and Bollywood actress Radhika Apte, who impressed with her riveting performance in RGV's Rattha Charithram, is back in a Tamil film titled Vettri Selvan. Ajmal, who surprised everyone with his villain act in Ko, is the lead protagonist.
The story is about three individuals abandoned by society who bring about a revolution. Rudhran, a popular name in the ad film circuit and with several awards to his credit, debuts as the director.
Rudhran has worked as an assistant to Vikram Kumar in the Madhavan starrer Yaavarum Nalam. "Though it has a serious subject, I have infused a lot of commercial elements into it to make it interesting," he says.
Playback singer Mano returns to the silver screen after a long hiatus and appears in an important character role. Ganja Karuppu will be seen in a comic role and Mani Sharma will be composing the tracks. |
