Deepika Padukone has signed to do female lead role in Kochadaiyaan which directed by Soundarya Ashwin. The film also has actress Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Nassar, Sneha and Aadhi in important roles. Rajiv Menon is handling cinematography, A.R. Rahman is scoring music and Vairamuthu is penned lyrics for the film. It was produced by Sunil Lulla under the banner of Eros Entertainment.
